NFL Underdogs: NFL Picks, and Predictions Week 14

After rough sledding for most of October and November, December has been good to our weekly NFL Underdogs picks and predictions.

We shook the stink of a nasty skid with a 2-1 against-the-spread finish in Week 12 and went a perfect 3-0 ATS in Week 13, thanks to some early-week underdogs who ended up closing as favorites when the whistle blew. But dog or fave, those three picks laid waste to any and all spreads. Closing line value be damned.

Due to my holiday schedule (I got some vacation days to burn up), the Week 14 edition of NFL Underdogs is hitting the presses a day early as we try to stay hot in the chilly December temperatures.

Here are my best NFL picks and predictions getting the points in Week 14.

Jalen Hurts Odds and Props: Hurts Finds the End Zone On Christmas

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been under fire recently with the team suffering three straight defeats. They’ll have a chance to get back on track this afternoon as they host the New York Giants during the Week 16 odds slate.

The Giants came back down to Earth last week with a 24-6 loss in New Orleans after three straight victories, now sitting 5-9, while the Eagles sit at 10-4 as huge favorites at home according to NFL odds.

The time is now for the Philly QB to deliver some presents on Christmas Day, so I’ll be looking at Jalen Hurts’ odds to see if I believe he’ll deliver them, or the sleigh will get lost.

Read on for my NFL picks surrounding the Eagles’ signal caller in this holiday special. Be sure to also check out our Giants…

Packers vs Eagles Friday Night Football Prop Bets: Brown Takes Center Stage in Week 1 Opener

The Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles hit Corinthians Arena for the first-ever NFL game in Brazil, and with one of the highest totals of the week, we should expect offensive fireworks for Friday Night Football.

Here is a trio of NFL player props to kick-start the weekend and complement this clash between the pair of NFC contenders.

Walcott keen to make impact at Euro 2012

Theo Walcott says he wants to be more than just a super-sub for England at Euro 2012.

The Arsenal winger made a vital contribution in the 3-2 victory over Sweden on Friday, replacing James Milner on the hour mark with England trailing 2-1, and scored the equaliser before bursting through to provide the assist for Danny Welbeck s late winner.

After his impressive cameo, the 23-year-old is hoping to start the decisive final group game against Ukraine on Tuesday.

I don t want to be known as a super-sub, Walcott told The Mirror. But you have to be ready to come off the bench and make an impact if you re not in the starting team.

This game isn t just about the 11 players who are picked. You have to rely on the 23 players who have been selected for the tourn…

Hazard will have a ´fabulous´ 2021, predicts Martinez

Eden Hazard will have a fabulous 2021 after missing out on Belgium s final games of this year with coronavirus, according to Roberto Martinez.

Since completing a €100million move to Real Madrid in June 2019, Hazard has been beset by injury problems and limited to just 25 appearances in all competitions.

He has scored two goals and supplied four assists for Los Blancos, after a final campaign at Chelsea in which he registered 16 goals and 15 assists in the Premier League alone.

A muscle injury meant his first outing of 2020-21 did not come until October 27 and three games into his return he tested positive for coronavirus.

Hazard was again positive for COVID-19 at the weekend and will consequently miss Belgium s crunch Nations League Group A2 clash wi…

FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013: Players to watch

The ninth FIFA Confederations Cup begins on June 15. Here we highlight our players to watch in Brazil.

Neymar (Brazil) – Following his big-money move to Barcelona, highly-rated attacker Neymar will be out to silence any potential doubters. The 21-year-old has scored 20 goals in 33 international appearances, and manager Luiz Felipe Scolari will hope he can continue to be prolific for the World Cup hosts.

Paulinho (Brazil) – The midfielder scored the equaliser with a terrific volley against England earlier in the month. The Corinthians player has been linked with Inter, and he will be looking to justify his growing reputation and help Brazil retain their crown.

Javier Hernandez (Mexico) – He may not have been able to nail down a regular place for Manchester United last…

Arsenal can fight for Premier League title again despite falling short in 2022-23, claims Willian

Willian understands the frustration Arsenal will have after their failure to push on for the Premier League title, but believes the Gunners can challenge again next season.

Arsenal came close to ending a 19-year wait for a top-flight title before a late-season collapse saw incumbent holders Manchester City seize another crown.

The manner of Arsenal s faltering finale represented a dramatic downturn after they had led the Premier League table for 248 days of the season.

Willian, who spent a single campaign at Emirates Stadium during the 2020-21 season, has backed his former club to be challengers again soon enough.

When I was there, I could see that Arsenal had a bright future ahead of them very close because of the way [Mikel] Arteta was working, the Ful…

Bears vs Vikings Week 18 Picks and Predictions: Minnesota Sees Zimmer Off In Style

Sunday’s NFC North matchup between the Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings is one of the true meaningless games in the Week 18 slate, as both teams are eliminated from the playoffs, so this doesn’t count for much beyond pride.

It still has the potential to be a good game, however, with the home Vikings as NFL betting chalk and both head coaches fighting for their futures.

Can either Mike Zimmer or Matt Nagy save their jobs? Read our free NFL picks and predictions for Bears vs. Vikings for how we think things will shake down.

Packers vs Dolphins Week 16 Props: Waddlin All the Way to the End Zone

One of the legends of the game will take on one of the hottest young quarterbacks in the league on Sunday when Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers take on the Miami Dolphins.

Miami can’t quite clinch a playoff spot this week, but a win would put it in a prime position to snag a Wild Card spot in the AFC. Meanwhile, Green Bay is on life support at 6-8, but has stayed alive thanks to a rejuvenated offense that is finally scoring points after struggling for much of the season.

How will Rodgers and Tagovailoa perform on Sunday afternoon? I’ll break it down with my favorite NFL player prop picks for the Christmas Day game between the Packers and the Dolphins. Be sure to also check out our Packers vs. Dolphins betting picks and predictions.
